Exactly. The others are too sweet. They are just right. I doubt you would find them too tart.

Maybe if they are only tart compared to the too sweet ones.

My mother's noodle kugel was also the best.

I have never had better matzos balls than my mother's, best of all was the turkey soup she put them in.

My mother made the best brisket ever. Good meat loaf, too. I could have lived without the pepper steak and I hated her stew. Her 1000-Island dressing has never been topped anywhere.

Well, I'm off to see ALW's The Wizard of Oz I saw the first tour in 2013 and I liked the show very much. This is the new tour - non-equity I believe- I'm hoping it's as good. Not that non-equity theatre is not superior to equity theatre, I'm just saying I liked it the first time. I'm sure the fact the actors are non-equity will have no bearing on the over all production. It's the production values that suffer with these things. But it was part of my Broadway San Jose season and I'm looking forward to it!

My evening walks this week now include our neighbor's dog. Since his mother hurt her knee a few neighbors have been helping out walking the little guy, whom we are all crazy about.

Tonight I burned a pan of onions and celery I was sauteing to add to the wild rice I was cooking. I thought I had turned the gas stove off, instead I turned it from low to high. I rushed the pan outside to cool before the smoke set of the alarm.

When I picked up the dog for his walk I mentioned what I had done. She said she did the same thing and now looks to make sure the flames are really turned off.

It felt like I had turned it all the way, and it looks like it too. There should be a more distinctive marking on the off arrow.
