I noticed this morning that the prescription for my progressive didn't include an "add." Without an "add" you can't make a progressive. Oy. I ended up having yet another eye exam. My eyes have been examined every possible way over the past few months. But it was quick and I do like the new optometrist.

Interestingly, his Rx is quite a bit different from the two progressive prescriptions from the surgeon. We won't know how correct it is until we make the glasses. With my new eyes this is supposed to be easy!

Well, she doesn't like to cook, so sometimes she has patience with it and it's great and sometimes she doesn't so it's not as great.....

Patience peach pie. I like the sounds of that.

I'll see if I have the recipe, it's actually a really good pie when you don't take it out of the oven before it's done....ie when you have patience

Oh my gosh! How could I have forgotten liver and onions and bacon. The whole thing was cooked in bacon grease. Those were the days!

My mom made a great apple pie. At least, I heard it was good from everyone else. I don't like apple pie, never have, never will. Not just my mother's pie, but anyone's apple pie.

When I was in high school, I dated a nice Italian girl. My mom and her grandmother became good friends. The grandmother got my mother making pizzelle cookies. My mom became a hit at cookie exchanges because she would take pizzelle to the parties. I liked the cookies, but I preferred the batch she would make for me that didn't have anise in them.

They fixed it! Everything went quite well tonight. The music and all the projections worked, and I even figured how to fade the projections in and out, instead of them coming on and off instantly.

I still don't get it. $:-\$ The acting and direction are good, but I just don't understand the point of the story.
