Well, I was wrong about the lineup for the concert tonight. There was Bernstein, but it was his score for On the Waterfront and the Chichester Psalms, sung by a choir of more than 100. The Piazzola piece was his concerto for bandeon, a type of accordion, and the soloist was astounding. The whole piece was something else. Really enjoyed hearing it and another piece that was new to me, Danzon No. 2 by a Mexican-American composer named Marquez. Will have to look for more work by him.
