Just a little funny for the afternoon.

I laughed.  I hope some of you do/did, too.

We have had sunshine and temps in the 70's today.  That's all right with me.

Well, I need to leave work now and run a few errands before the Theater Artists Olympia board meeting later this afternoon.  I didn't do before what I needed to have done tonight, so I need to do NOW what I should've done...but I need to do it at home.

Be back later.

I enjoyed the video clips in the Notes. Snacks is a really cute song. I left for my doctor's appointment with it going through my head. Too much listening of said song, though, MAY make one hungry for a snack.

I was feeling somewhat nauseated this morning, but, happily, my "back" treatment also got rid of the nausea. Yay! I'm taking it easy this afternoon. I can tell I have a bug.

I'll add my two cents on the DOWNTON finale. I found it quite satisfying. I suspect that is partly because the writers knew this would be the last season, unlike many shows whose plug is pulled mid-season. They had the time to wrap everything up nicely. And did so.

I continue to receive letters from the IRS (federal and state), saying I owe them more money. And more money. And more money. Sheesh! The first one I was able to figure out. (They were correct. Sigh.) I now must pull out the return again and try to make sense of #2 and #3. Honestly!!

The corner in 1910.

The corner today.

JRand, is this typical downtown Mooresville, ie small scale and a quaint feel? I like it. I'd like to see more commercial districts like it.

TOD:

Well, I miss the Big Donut. Not exactly an architectural wonder, but it was FUN! There's a Goodwill store there now.

The building that housed a 5-and-10 variety store that my mother often took me to when I was a little girl now houses an Indian restaurant, which I've been to many, many, many times. Somehow, that evolution feels right.

I've been taking home doggie bags not just for left-overs, but as part of a plan for decades. I have no problem just eating half. BK can attest to the fact that I'm not a big eater.

LOL, DR Jane!  I'm getting a little stir-crazy, especially today because it's beautiful and very spring-like.

Well, if the weather is nice and you keep from getting a chill, then I think it is ok to go outside.

Greetings from Oberhausen, Germany!  It's not one of the prettiest cities I've seen.

I am excited for you and hope there will be photos.

I was so happy I was able to check in to my hotel right away. I arrived between 9 and 10 am and checkin is usually 3 pm.

It is always a treat when you can check in early like that.
