I was hoping I would hear from Sandy tonight, but I am sure he has a lot to think about.

I thought maybe he was using you as a sounding boad.  Did anyone go with him to his doctor visits?

Mavis Staples and Nick Lowe were excellent tonight. Small crowd, but very appreciative. She's in her late 70s and she has more stamina than I do.

A storm is also brewing at the dance studio I go to and I feel as if I'm being pulled in the middle of it all. Ugh.

By sheer coincidence, his other son just happened to be in town visiting when Sandy received his diagnosis.

After leaving work early, I got a couple of gift certificates for one of my staff whose brother died a couple of weeks ago.

We used to have dues that paid for such things, but no one wanted to pay the dues anymore, so each department does their own thing for bereavements.
