I went to my aaccount and found out I have 7 hours left on the book.

Turn the wifi off until you finish the book.

That's what I've been saying! :D

LOL  I didn't want to keep the book since I hadn't even begun it.  I let it return and then the same book ,on our 2nd library account, automatically checked out. :)

If I had really wanted the book I would have turned off the wifi.

Turn the wifi off until you finish the book.

But then I would not be able to post at night or in the morning, like now ;)

Fortunately I planned ahead by putting a hold on both accounts.

I just meant for a few hours while you finished the book.

It was around 50F here today. If the snow would just melt I would be very happy.

We were around 50, with loads of rain.

Richard and I left here right after lunch to do some errands and visit Mom.  It was 74 degrees and gorgeous and I thought we'd be able to take her outside in her wheelchair.  By the time we got there, about an hour later, it had begun to rain.  We took her for an indoor walk instead to her storage locker to put away her tub of Christmas decorations and bring back the ones for Easter.

When we got home Rob helped us shrink-wrap our Christmas tree and get it to the basement.

Can you tell I'm finally feeling better?

Richard went to the local BBQ joint to bring home our dinner and, after we ate, I assembled 2 cinnamon pecan coffee cakes.  They're baking now and making the house smell so good!  One is for an AAUW meeting on Saturday and the other is for us.  That one will be gone before Saturday, I'm sure...

Carefully, DR Jane, very carefully  ;)

We have an industrial size roll of plastic wrap and I hold that while Richard and Rob twirl the tree sections.  It went much more smoothly this year than last (our first for this technique).

We just went up to 108% and I know one perk will be going in the morning.  And I'm lowering the dinner with Richard Sherman perk by $250 so that if up to six people want to pitch in it would cost them less than 200 each.

The good news is we're fifty bucks away from covering all the Indiegogo fees and if we go up a bit higher we'll cover the Paypal fees, too.  What a day this has been, what a rare mood I'm in.

Oh, and SAG pension called and said they can't start the direct deposit until the May check - they're a little nuts - I sent them everything they asked for including a bank statement, but now they also want one cancelled check I've cashed.  So, they'll have that now or shortly but it delayed it by a month so the April check is going to be mailed, but not here - to the UPS Store address.

Wow, and the tree is left intact with all of the decorations on it?

Oh, no, the only decorations we leave on are the lights on the top section.  I'd packed away all the other ornaments right after I got back from Boston in January.  But Rob got sick with bronchitis about that time and then I started coughing, so the bare tree has sat in the family room until today.

Watching a silly bit of nonsense called Down to Earth with Rita Hayworth. Very much a Columbia musical of the time. She's good, and the Jack Cole choreography is just a hoot.

Glad to see that you're feeling better, DR Ginny. I can understand wanting to get out for a few hours! I hope you'll be able to regain your strength at your leisure and not feel compelled to do more than what you're comfortable with.

Vibes for your full recovery.

I took a speed reading class in high school.  Sounds like you could use it about now
