Well, you've read the notes, the notes attacked the subject matter of the Day Runners, and now it is time for you to post until the attacking cows come home.

Fascinating topic of the day.  It's fun to think about.  Of the choices that were under my control, what comes to mind is had I gone to a different out-of-town law school in a different town, or even a different coast, it would have meant a whole different path in life.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!

So, here's an Irish song from the University College Dublin.  This chorus was the basis of the chorus for my recording of DEAREST ENEMY in 2012.

Around 8:00 I will head for the bus.  My appointment with an orthopedist is at 9:30, and I like to be early.  I hope with the holiday traffic that it isn't grisly getting there.  Then I will head to City Center to visit with Joshie before I head home.

Good morning, all.

An okay sleep.  Could use more, but I'm not likely to get it.

The pilot NO HONESTLY was written and produced by Bob Shayne (no relation) and was based on a BBC TV series of the same name and its follow up Yes Honestly. The source I have does not list a cast just a brief synopsis of the plot.

I had Elmore dreams last night. A friend recently asked me to read a novel she'd written, and I offered her some thoughts and ideas to tighten yesterday. It's a thriller about a woman who's fleeing from an abusive husband who refuses to let her go. I kept dreaming about the ending where the husband gets his comeuppance. It was sometimes satisfying, sometimes not. But the scene kept playing over and over again.

I'm too busy looking ahead to think too much about the past at this point.

St. Patrick's Day greetings!  I've been to the book sale site to deliver donations from my friends Linda and Deborah.  Tina met me at the curb with a cart, so I didn't even have to go in.  She said they have plenty of help.

TOD - I have few regrets and the ones I do have are minor.  My life would have been very different if I'd stuck to my vow to go "anywhere but Ohio" for my first job out of grad school.

Lovely notes today!  Most enjoyable.

TOD:  Most interesting.....but I have to believe that I have made right choices.  Most of them have been relationship based rather than career based....so we go on.

TOD

I can look back at my many forks in the road, and no matter which alternatives I play with in my head, everything from that point changes in a big way.  It's tempting to wish I'd done one thing or another differently, but the uncertainty of ANY hypothetical decision keeps me reasonably content with where I am.  I still believe I have choices to make, and I want to concentrate my energies on those.

Yesterday, one choice I had to make was whether to get the corned beef going right hen, and peek in at River City today.  The dinner is ready for final prep this evening, and I am off to I-O-WAY.

Regarding the role you turned down because you didn't want to show your ass:

Was there no such thing as a "stunt ass"?
