Yuck on both of those-lol. I like mine with just mayo & mustard and sprinkled with paprika. I also fill them full so there is leftover egg white halves.

I overfill them, too. But I have to admit I was raised on Mom using her homemade bread and butter pickles in the deviled eggs. So those are my standard. Everyone is different, I realize.

All opinions welcome. I got one for mixing in dill weed, but not pickle. That sounds intriguing.

I have to confess that I did make deviled eggs for New Year's 2000 and didn't like them very much. Not that they were bad, but they had crab meat and wasabi in them and neither added to the dish. No wonder I forgot about them.

In the published vocal score and the current MTI P/C score, they're in F, G-flat, and G, respectively -- but in the MTI full score and the parts, all three are in F. Well, I have decided that TODAY is the day for me to get my hairs cut off my head. It's probably been close to a year since the last time, and since I didn't get cast in the show that needed someone with long hair, I can have them removed professionally, because I don't want just a buzz-cut.

And I am home! Game cast, but I think that, as a show, Do-Re-Mi is a real dud with a few good songs and a few really lousy numbers. My friend Laura was fine in the Nancy Walker role and my friend Danny Marcus was a good racketeer. The rest of the cast ranged from really good to not-so-good. I can't say I had a bad time, only that I spent much of it wondering why it ever ran and that I were watching another Comden & Green or Jule Styne show. I did love, and always have, the silliness of "What's New At the Zoo?" but "All You Need Is a Quarter" fails on nearly every level, from faux-pop song to mediocre revue material.

I saw my friends Mel Miller, who produces this series of musicals, and Michael Portantiere, so that was a lot of fun as well. There was an elderly lady sitting in front of me who told me, and anyone she could get to, that she was Betty Comden's cousin.

Okay, then I vote for big error. I'm not aware of anything that's one bit simplified.

In fact, these kids are finding this score a real challenge. Their conductor gave me a heads up on that, and I was still shocked when I heard the problems. On the other hand, he's got a really inexperienced group this time. But Willson's style of "Trouble", for instance...though really, many of the songs...it's hard for most of us to believe, but they're in a world they don't know.

Saturday evening greetings! Rob and Mary Linda arrived home before noon today and their kitty was very pleased to see them (as was I!)

This afternoon I did the rest of the grocery shopping for tomorrow's Easter feast and just put a dozen lemon-lime Jello eggs in the fridge. Our menu consists of green eggs and ham, green beans, dilled carrots, cheesy potatoes, and rolls. Sister-in-law Kathy is bringing a Servati's coconut cake for dessert.

Fjl's Skip makes the most wonderful deviled eggs I have ever had. No pickle juice Just mayo , Dijon mustard and blue cheese. Topped with bacon crumbles . Amazing!,

Vixdad and I just watched Buster Keaton's "The General". On TMC.... A silent movie, Wonderful storytelling, great effects all real.... Great stunts... And a bare minimum of dialogue boards. Puts modern movie makers to shame
