I use Goodreads as notes to myself, and then they are fairly simple. I really, really hate rating anything on it.

Tense can ruin the evening, and you drive so far to get there.

It is, indeed! My sister-in-law brought a bunny cake for our dessert - chocolate cake with coconut icing. We saved the face for me to take to Mom tomorrow.

Watching Indiscreet with Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman. I haven't seen this in at least 20 years, but I remember having the same feeling then: It should be much better than it is, but it's; fun at least watching the two of them.

Beautiful service with string choir, brass choir, bell choir and "choir" choir... Packed house with everyone dressed beautifully... I always love to see the little girls in their dresses and Easter hats and the boys with their little suits and ties... There was a plethora of fedoras on the little boys this year as well... And they are always so pleased when you compliment hem on their outfits

Came home and peeled and halved 8 lbs of white mushrooms while sautéing a couple of vidalvia onions in butter Then threw the mushrooms in in batches and then as each batch cooked transferred them to the slow cooker with some sherry and Beef stock... This send a couple of bottles of wine were my only required contributions to Easter dinner

It was a fine dinner... My sister in law made up a buffet and served broiled flounder stuffed with crabmeat ( which I did not try), ham, prime rib, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts with crushed pecans, green beans with bacon, my mushrooms, my moms cauliflower casserole, bread rolls, these little spinach pastry things she makes with phyllo and spinach filling.....

And there were no arguments ... There was a loud discussion about Common core... ( my SIL is a teacher and get dad is a retired teacher) but despite the sized voices everyone wasbadica,lay agreeing with everyone else
