DR Jane, do you ever ask the people who work at the glasses store to help you select your frames? They usually have a good idea what looks good.

Daedalus's latest DVD catalog arrived today. Evening Primrose is now available for $6.95 if you have this Sondheim musical in your collection.

Can't believe it - books arrived and they're still not right.  I talked to the really nice gal and sent her photos and she feels it's definitely a printer issue and since they use several different branches she's sending it to a new branch - she says the Pennsylvania branch is problematic and wished they hadn't been sent there.  Interestingly, the two copies I got from the new files we sent are perfect - and they came from the Tennessee branch of the printer.  It's maddening.  They're going to reprint them all and I should have them again next Monday, at least that's the hope.  So, please be patient just a bit longer because I really don't want to send these out, even though they're not terrible.

I'm just so anxious for everyone to read the damn thing already.  I'll know in the morning exactly when they'll be here - if it's going to be next week, I may just send out the softcovers so people can at least read, but we'll see.

Sorry to hear about Patty Duke!  I thought she was great in The Miracle Worker.  And I still watch The Patty Duke Show.  They show reruns on one of those new channels (antenna TV maybe?)

Sorry to hear about Patty Duke - I had a major crush on her when I saw The Miracle Worker - and I finally got to meet her oh so fleetingly at one of the Ray Courts shows.

Yep.  And later, for me, Valley of the Dolls.

Tuesday morning greetings!  After a very stern lecture from my doctor yesterday and not liking what I saw on his scale, I decided this morning to return to my basement walking routine.  The goal is 30 minutes, but I'll have to work up to that.  Today I did my stretching and walked for 10 minutes and that was enough.

Good because if you are not walking at least 30 minutes a day that is not healthy.

But after getting out of the habit and having diminished lung capacity, you can't jump right in doing a 30-minute power walk.  Today I did 10, tomorrow I'll try for 12, etc.

Absolutely do it slowly.  Another way to increase your minutes is to take a second, shorter walk.

And now we get word that James Noble has died.  He was Robert Guillaume's co-star on "Benson" (he played the governor).

He seemed to have had a good life living until 94.

TMZ reporting sepsis from a ruptured intestine as a cause of death for Patty Duke.

http://www.tmz.com/2016/03/29/patty-duke-dies-dead-at-69/

That sounds very 18th-century...

Yes.   What can cause a "ruptured intestine"?

Keith looked this up earlier.  The following article about Patty Duke explains it.

Sure, but just as when shopping for clothes sales people are not as critical as I am.  I tried on lots of frames that looked nice enough but they weren't really what I wanted.  I confirmed my decision by taking them home.

My new frames I didn't try on initially as they were in the men's section, which is funny that they are small enough for my little face.  As soon as I put them on I knew they were the ones I wanted but didn't have anymore time to deal with it.

Once I purchased glasses on a whim and then tired of them so I figure why not take them home and play if them if it is allowed ;)

Craig's dog Yogi is very sick with an intestinal problem.  Poor Craig hasn't slept in a couple of weeks and you can imagine it has been horrible for Yogi left at home while Craig worked.

It is spring break and I hope an answer is find before Craig's "vacation" is over.

And later Phyllis in an LA production of Follies. I forget who the men were, but Vicki Carr was Sally.

Found Bridge of Spies at the library today. Only have it for a few days, so I'm watching it tonight.

Really enjoying the pacing.
