DR vixmom, please tell The Vixter that I send my good wishes to FLA with her.  I hope she finds interesting work opportunities.

Thank you!  I will let her know
I would like to go to at least one more show with her before she goes perhaps we can get together for dinner

Good evening morning afternoon, all.

Back, from a whirlwind tour of two blocks of beautiful downtown Schenectady, and THE LION KING at Proctor's.  A mighty fine day and evening were had, and it's an easy 2 1/2 hour drive up there.

Always nice to be back at home on a beautiful day, of course ... where a lovely BOOK was waiting in my mailbox.  :)

Not all that often. We used to take Keith's mother to the one in Santa Monica.

BK congrats on the successful book signing and reading!

I have never seen a show choir (except on tv and movies) perform but that sounds super interesting and intriguing that they have such high production values. Must have been amazing to watch.

When I was in show choir (30 years ago), it was nothing like it is now.  We did not have "such high production values."  We just wore black pants and vests with gold shirts, and had some simple choreography.  We sounded good, but it definitely was a much simpler time.

My region-free blu-ray DVD player is on its way out, I regret to say, and I need to purchase a new one.  I wish I were more tech-savvy since each offers different options. Advice?

I got my Toshiba multi-region Blu-ray/DVD player on eBay for only about $200.  I love it.

And now that I've just gotten here, I must leave...for a while, at least.  We're having a cast party for "The Credeaux Canvas" and I need to write checks for everyone (who wants one) because last night's show was a benefit performance for the actors and crew!

Already, several people said that they would just donate it back to TAO, so I won't have to write (and void) those checks.  The cast party is going to be outside at The Abandoned Olympia Brewery.  I also need to find out exactly where it is. ::)

In the morning we went out to brunch and then stopped at the farmers market for Challah.  Keith likes the cranberry & orange but the orange does not agree with me.  Normally I get plain or raisin.  Both are good for making french toast.  Today they had cinnamon and I got that.  Oh, is it yummy.

Since it was chilly out we decided to go to a movie before walking.  We saw Alan Rickman's last physical movie, Eye in the Sky.  It was sad when I first saw him, but then I became lost in the story.  All the performances were excellent.

I said physical since he will be the voice of the Blue Caterpillar in Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Since I have only walked 5 miles today I think I shall go out for a short one.  I think it will be rude to walk with my music playing.  Maybe it won't be crowded out there.  It was yesterday with the beautiful weather.

Sunday evening greetings!  I was up at 5:30 this morning and on my way to Lima with Richard at 7:15.  We stopped at the grocery on the way back and I've vegged in front of the TV ever since we got home.  Watched some recaps of the World Figure Skating Championships, the movie CAROL, and tonight's episode of CALL THE MIDWIFE.  We're now waiting for the 2-hour ELEMENTARY, which seems to be delayed by half an hour.  Did some sporting event run over this afternoon?

I can't wear them because of my hearing aids.  My cousin has hearing aids that are blue tooth comparable with his iPhone.  He loves it.  They came out after I got my hearing aids.

I took my hearing aids out to try the buds, and they wouldn't stay in my ears.  Even if I could have heard Keith talking they would be difficult to use  :D
