Last night I had a really bizarre dream involving rehearsals for Fiddler on the Roof with Danny Burstein, a bunch of children, and a lot of tsuris,

It is beginning to become a habit.  A hamburger and potato salad for lunch.**

**with a bowl of ice cream for dessert

Good morning, DR TCB! Where are you today? Do you know?  Also, does the cruise alert you when to turn your watch nack with a new time zone?

We are in the middle of the Atlantic, elmore.  We are about 500 miles from the Azores.

Yes we get a little card on our bed, next to the towel animal, telling us to move our clock ahead one hour.  There is also a little note in our daily planner.

I helped a nice lady sign in to Iceland Air.  So, I have done my good deed for the day.

It is after 1:30.  Almost time for a nap. Or time to eat again.

And how are you feeling today, elmore?

I'm having some good days with my leg.  It may have been the therapy, or it may be the gelatin I'm taking, but many of the pains have vanished and I am sleeping better.  I'm cautious about the whole situation but pleased at the change.

Jrand, that is very considerate of them to schedule things that way.  Sounds like a style that could make for a happy company.

TOD:

I guess early influences were more literary and visual than people I actually knew. I would include Dr. Seuss and Peter Arno on a very early list; Jules Verne, Picasso, Cole Porter and Sondheim on a later list.

There really isn't much that inspired me when I was younger. If I saw people do great things, I figured only they could do them, and not me. I do remember watching the "Bob Newhart Show" and thinking I might want to be a psychologist, but it wasn't a particularly strong feeling.

Heller asked me the TV model and looked up its manual.  Yep,  I need an HDMI converter.  Joshie thinks he might be able to come by today and check things out.

I need breakfast.

I hope Jane got some sleep.

Thanks.  It took hours to get to sleep but I then managed to sleep until 7:45.

HDMI Converters are not difficult to install....technology moves so quickly, anything you buy is obsolete before you take it out of the box.

Yes DR FJL.....the director is thoughtful in that way.  He directed ACHILLES/ACHILLES SON at DePauw which I did about 18 months ago....he is used to working with conflicts and schedules.....

I've pulled down vintage sheet music copies of two of the period songs needed for ACT ONE, but I'm having trouble identifying "I'll Be Loving Always".  I've asked the director for specifics, but does anyone recognize that as an early 20th century song title?

This is excellent news.  I did not know that about gelatin.  I remember it was supposed to be good for hair and nails.  I usually avoid foods with it because it is made from animal products.

TOD:

When I was 4, Pinocchio inspired me to go into show biz.

A few years later, The Storyman (If you've read my first memoir, you know who he is.), inspired me to tell stories.

Mrs. Borgstrom, my Drama teacher in my senior high school year, inspired me to follow my dream.
