I've pulled down vintage sheet music copies of two of the period songs needed for ACT ONE, but I'm having trouble identifying "I'll Be Loving Always".  I've asked the director for specifics, but does anyone recognize that as an early 20th century song title?

Irving Berlin's song Always? I'll Be Loving You, Always. With a love that's true, Always.

Monday morning greetings!  I've been to our local hospital for every woman's second favorite health screening and to Kroger for a few items.  The rest of the day is for puttering at home until it's time to go to the public library for an AAUW board meeting.

I'm up, I'm up - in fact, I've been more up than asleep - I think I'll just give up food altogether - too many things are bugging my tummy.

What happened to dear reader George?  Unusual for him not to show up late.  Hope all is okay.

Unlike me, who was in bed last night.  Early to bed.  Early to rise.

Still, I'm no more healthy, wealthy or wise as a result.

And how are you feeling today, elmore?

I'm having some good days with my leg.  It may have been the therapy, or it may be the gelatin I'm taking, but many of the pains have vanished and I am sleeping better.  I'm cautious about the whole situation but pleased at the change.

This is excellent news.  I did not know that about gelatin.  I remember it was supposed to be good for hair and nails.  I usually avoid foods with it because it is made from animal products.

That is great news!

I feel out of the loop as to current events.  I don't suppose we managed to elect a new president while I have been on vacation?

It's the song in "Blithe Spirit" that brings Elvira back.

Me too DR ELMORE - but we at least showed our vast musical knowledge......I had forgotten it was featured in BLITHE SPIRIT......strange that Coward didn't use one of his songs or write one of his own for the show......

Once on To Tell The Truth, there were three men pretending to be a famous composer......Polly Bergen asked them "What's your ASCAP rating?"  Two of them kind of hemmed and hawed and the third one said: "Somewhere between you and Irving Berlin."

Polly wisely voted for him.....correctly.
