My brother Randy surprised me around 8:15 with a phone call. I hadn't spoken to him in around three months, so I was happy to hear from him. He was in a talkative mood, and around 10:00 I told him that I knew he had to be up for work around 5:30 and I was ordering him to go to bed. By the time I finished the things I'd started before his call, it was close to midnight.

So I overslept.

Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.

Tonight is my rehearsal night. We are staging ALL of my scenes. It is very thoughtful of the director to put all of my scenes in on one night, rather than asking me to drive down several nights in a row for one scene....

DR JRand, I kept looking at the back of my old DVD player and the back of this new one and all I could think was, WTF?

It was both terrifying and completely puzzling. Heller's a technical wiz, so I'm hoping he will know exactly what to do.
