Enjoying a quiet evening at home watching this and that.  Haven't had one of these in a while.

By the bye, whoever said this has felt like a Friday all day ... I agree.

Just watched Act One of ACT ONE on my DVR, and the last ten minutes of BYE BYE BIRDIE on TCM.

I'm thinking maybe just some music next.

Does anybody else remember what they were doing 54 years ago today?  I was Junior Bridesmaid in my sister's wedding:

I was not alive 54 years ago today.  My parents didn't even know each other 54 years ago today!

;)

You really know how to twist that knife, George.

Well, I'm turning 50 next week, so I take where I can.

DR TCB, where are you today?

I believe the Captain said that we passed Normandy this evening and tomorrow morning we will be passing the white cliffs of Dover.

I hope you get to see them.

From what I have been told the best view is from above them, so try to go to the top of the ship when you pass.

Three years ago, we stopped in Dover on this cruise, so I have actually seen the gray white cliffs of Dover.

And?

There was a rumor going around the ship today that it was snowing in Copenhagen.

We have a friend hiking the Grand Canyon tomorrow and it is snowing there.

I'm not sure I have a favorite cookie.

I like peanut butter cookies, oatmeal, ginger, almond macaroons, to name a few.

I really miss Pogens which I used to buy but were discontinued years ago.

Here's the BRIGHT STAR baseball team.  Mt friend Eric is standing, fiftyh from the left.  My friend Stephen Bogardus is second from left.

I interviewed Stephen a lifetime ago when he was staring in a touring production of Chess with Carolee Carmelo. It was coming to Proctor's Theater in Schenectady.

If you put it that way, George, one would have to wait a few more months before I would be alive, too.

Tomorrow I'm going to be home all day watching a live webinar.   I'm glad because Callie hasn't been well and I'm hoping having me home will help.

She was fine, but had some bad teeth and had to have surgery.  Her recover started well, but went down hill fast.  She completely stopped eating.  It's triggered her old problems and yesterday I had to take her in to the vet for an enema. She still isn't eating and is pretty weak.  I think she's slowly perking up tonight, but I've been seriously worried about it.

Back from a very long day.  Kritzerland rehearsal went very well - one of our gals was sick so she'll come in early on Saturday.

We were missing all our shared actors today, but still got a lot done with the choreographer, and I worked on sketches.  I made one actor change in a sketch and that's enormously helpful, actually.  And the new actor was a bit late but there and doing everything he needed to do - he'll have a couple more difficult travel days then he'll have his car back and it will all get much easier for him.

I am thrilled that I figured out how to hook my computer up to my tv so I can sit in my recliner and watch the webinar.   I had planned to drive to Des Moines for it.  I haven't seen a lot of those people for a long time, but I'm doing it this way so I'm here for Cal.   One of the speakers is Dean Strange, one of the lawyers from Making a Murderer.  I know Jerry Buting, the other defense lawyer and may have met Dean, but I don't know for sure.  Guess I won't be able to ask him that now

April has been insane for so many reasons.  Mostly just every think I'm involved in had events in the same month, I had to rewrite a couple appeal briefs and do the regular stuff.  I didn't do much sitting at home.
