Tom, I know this cruise has been filled with problems, but I've enjoyed hearing about it.

(That sounds rather strange.)

Let's try: I've enjoyed hearing about your cruise, even though there have been a number of difficulties.

I took a cruise like that once. NO END of problems. I learned toward the end of the week that the ship was being retired after this trip, so they had no incentive to fix anything. It was horrible. I had no idea it was such an old ship. Most of the passengers were angry about the way we were being treated, which must have made it hell for the crew, as well.

Laundry in the dryers, floors vacuumed, breakfast eaten, bed made, and i am ready for a nap.

I'm listening to Gounod's opera Romeo et Juliette.  Some beautiful stuff in it, but i still think he composes with a pastry tube.

Is that the version where they live happily ever after? I saw some opera version of R+J with a happy ending. I hadn't read the program since I knew the plot, and when that happened, I was actually more horrified than happy for the young lovers.

Oh. My. Gawd! :o

Maybe it's Diane Paulus' Production of Tolstoy's WAR & PEACE with a new book by Harvey Fierstein and music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper......

Some days, depending on who's working at Staples, a trip there can be a completely frustrating waste of time and energy.  The dumbass running the Print Dept today made it a real joy.

You must pay extra for it, given the extra weight.

Nope, no charge.

I know it is stupid to dwell on a problem that didn't happen, but it still pisses me off.

Bag is packed, placed in the hall, and I can't find a single thing that I forgot to pack!

I get to leave as soon as intermission is over...actually, I need to leave as quickly as I can.  I need to print copies of the script, "Seven Ways To Get There," for the tech rehearsal this afterneoon.  Even though I'll be running sound (I'm involved in ANOTHER show, BK!), I don't need to be there.

But I need to get them printed quickly because my family is getting together at either my parents' house or my sister's house...I don't think that it's been decided yet which house to go to.  I'll call after dropping off the scripts.

If I remember correctly, the current owners bought Bud Johansen's (sp?) School of Ballet when Bud retired and renamed it.

I'm watching First Nudie Musical for the first time in too long. I'm laughing, as I knew I would, but I forgot how sweet it is, too.
