I'm up, I'm up - barely.  Maybe five hours, but I managed not to throw up, so that's good.

We are having company for lunch.  Liam is very excited by the prospect of food falling on the floor.

This is what happens when Patrick Bronstein logs in as BK.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I took another load of stuff to the AAUW garage sale venue and then went to Cracker Barrel for brunch.  Home for an hour or so before I have to pick up Katie for the 4th annual Women's Wine and Chocolate Walk in downtown Middletown.

She of the Evil Eye is here.  Tummy is really wacky, so may just go and have some ginger ale and white plain toast.

And wouldn't even have that if I didn't have to kill so much time.

I'm pretty much done with eating after 10:00pm.  Nausea in the morning is no fun.

TOD:  There have certainly been a lot of Opening Nights.  None of which are that memorable.

The program that TAO uses for sound is what is also used for projections.  I have to go through the whole audio/video sequence before the house opens because we've had projection problems in the past.  The worst was a couple of years ago when one of the projections was a video clip that we think was too large (we never could figure out exactly what was the problem).  I had to make sure that it was tested every night, otherwise it might (but not always) totally freeze the whole program and I would have to close it and restart it.  Not fun during a show.

TOD:

Hmmmmm......I have not been to many Opening Nights other than my own.

The only opening nights that I've been have been my own, or of other local projects...and none has been that memorable. :-\

Back from stuff - I had a ginger ale and a toasted bagel plain - that seemed okay.

I don't know if I said that the Jane Eyre CD arrived while I was out of town, but it's a beauty.  Love the full bodied sound and all of those fantastic cues.

I was hoping I had a PDF copy of Herrmann's score, since so much of his work is available on the World Wide Web.  Alas, nothing.

Errands have been run and I'm back home for some TV watching, DVD burning, and laundry washing...all at the same time, too!

Back from the Women's Wine and Chocolate Walk in downtown Middletown.  Visited 17 of the 20 official venues, plus one unofficial venue.  The weather is cold and blustery, which detracted somewhat from the fun.  Katie and I met up with Jackie, who was by herself and glad to find some companions.  When Katie had to leave at 3:30, Jackie and I went to one more stop together.  We were then back to where our cars were parked, so we parted ways and I stopped at a couple of the more remote locations on my drive home.  Lots of development going on in our downtown!
