My moms "rosey meatballs".  Basically a can of cranberry jelly and a same size can of tomato sauce...heat and stir until completely melded then put your previously made cocktail size meatballs and let the simmer and absorb  a,or of that sauce for a few hours.  Mmmmmmm lovely

Tod

Skips amazing deviled eggs

I was just boiling eggs to make deviled eggs on Sunday. What makes Skip's so good?

Woke up at five in the a.m. and finally gave up and got up.  There will have to be a nap at some point during my day.  I have a lot of work to do at the piano, and I'd like to actually be awake this evening at a semi-staged reading of Sartre's NO EXIT I'm attending.

And you want to be awake for the reading?

Another bit of good news: there might be a reading of Moonshine and Mistletoe in the first week of August at the York Theatre if we can make it happen.

That is wonderful news.  I will pray that it happens.

I got a wonderful email from my friend fighting cancer:
I went to Philadelphia on Monday and got great news from the doctors.  The treatment was apparently very successful and they are extremely encouraged.

Since my friend Alan Freeman was told his brain tumor was in remission in 2013 and then died from it in March 2014, I trust no diagnosis. Please keep him in your thoughts.

I agree, how long remission will last can be a guessing game.  Still, good news from your friend.

VIBES TO YOUR FRIEND, AND ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, AND DR'S DEALING WITH CANCER!!!

Ditto!

So what did you decide, furniture wise Tom?

No decision made.  I may bag the whole idea.  The whole thing is just too overwhelming.  Having to move the old furniture out.  Cleaning the carpet before moving the new stuff in.  Having to beg friends for help moving things.

So I redid everything and once again the entries were all changed when I hit print.....

As if you don't have enough work to do.

There is a five page closing disclosure form that I have to complete for every transaction. After getting aparticularly detailed and complicated one completed I printed it and watched in amazement as half the entries disappeared while others were suddenly duplicated or triplicated
So I redid everything and once again the entries were all changed when I hit print.....

Noooooo!!
lit was maddening

At the least.

Hello, everyone.

BK's show was GREAT! I loved the music, the orchestrations, the energy of the show.

I'll catch up on posts tomorrow and then write a bit more.
