ChasSmith, it's about Barnes and Noble Criterion sale time. Have you heard anything?

The usual suspects on the forums believe it will start in early July and run for three weeks or thereabouts.

I looked at my calendar for tomorrow: yikes! A day crammed with incident.

Thanks, ChasSmith. I thought it was usually in June. But what do I know?

I particularly like how I become floating head and hands when I stand in front of the black curtain.

You and Streisand (at the end of "Funny Girl").

Happy Thursday, Tutti!

Am taking an unexpected day off tomorrow to take my car in for an annual "everything".

My mechanic is SO very popular it's increasingly rare you can get your car in and back in one day.  He has promised me that tomorrow is the ideal day for it. I made an offer to rent a car while I left my car with him for however many days it would take, but he said it wasn't necessary.

This "Ballad of Belle Boyd" (No. 10 in the Moross score) is endless. After so many proofs, I'm amazed how many things I have found.

In response to DR VIXMOM's repeated requests....well she asked once.....here is Beth playing what purports to be a piano while Mr. Laurence thinks about the many rips in the time/space continuum are present in this production.

Very nice picture, Jrand...even if you are just a set of floating head and hands.

Here's something that bothered me this morning: on CBS THIS MORNING, they interviewed a country singer, Kip Moore, who's working with skateboarding kids.  The scroll under the interview said, "Roll Model," not "Role Model."

Is he the Pillsbury Doughboy stand-in?

We are raising a nation of morons.

Yup...you can't blame spell-check on this one. ::)

Thursday afternoon greetings!  Today was my second-to-last collage class at the New Lebanon library.  When I got home it was lunchtime, then I waited out a thunderstorm before turning on the computer.

One to go.  I also just got the last draft of the score for the GUYS & DOLLS overture, which looks quite lovely.

One day back in the 20th Century, on the old Mike Douglas Show....there was a similar mistake on a slide.  Mike was laughing when he came back after a commercial and said: "Put that back up......I'm the only one working here without a college education and this is what I get!"

The slide said:  "Join us tommorrow......."

Thank you DR Jennifer.  I only saw one bookmark in Krakow, though we saw lots of books, but it was rather bulky for mailing.

For years I have been wanting to visit Barcelona.   We should have made this trip back then.  We did not realize there is a problem with over population from tourist.  We don't like loud noisy cities.
