We watched FORBIDDEN PLANET tonight on a DVD Keith's brother gave us.  It includes deleted scenes, along with interesting facts.

Auction is STILL going on - one time it got down to seven minutes and I thought the madness would end, but alas, in this iteration there are still twenty minutes to go - and this auction doesn't even have anything that interesting in it.  I'm going to write the auction house tomorrow and tell them they've blown any chance of my EVER giving them anything to auction or of me taking part in an auction - at some point this becomes ludicrous.  They say they do it because it's to protect bidders from snipers - well, give me a break.  This literally could go on for days if you've got two twits duking it out.

Skippy chunky is what I like along with apricot preserves.  Cinnamon plum jam, or preserves, would be better if I could still find it.

This auction narrative is making me laugh.

Today I watched HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1959).  I hadn't seen it in probably forty years.

I was tempted to watch the cleaned up and colorized version, but Amazon wanted $2.99 to watch it, and the B&W version was free.

I find that I don't enjoy horror films like I used to like them.

This one was more of a nostalgia trip than a horror film.

I knew I wanted to watch something, but I just couldn't decide on anything.

THE MARTIAN is no longer available to rent on either Amazon or Netflix.  I guess I will have to either buy it or go to one of those red box places.

I just searched thirty-minute rule and I found interesting results, including one from the very auction I'm watching.  If I'm reading it correctly, an item is supposed to CLOSE if there haven't been new bids in thirty minutes - okay, get it.  But this entire auction seems to be resetting overtime someone bids.  I've been watching one item in particular and it has had no bids for five hours and yet still keeps getting reset - according to what's on their own site that's not the way it's supposed to work.

We went to the movies today and saw CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE.  We laughed a lot and enjoyed it very much.

I don't know.  I have never used one of those boxes.

When we used them the movies were fairly recent.

Can you get Netflix in the mail?

Of course.  Or do you mean Tom, specifically?

I meant Tom since he said Netflix no longer has THE MARTIAN.   I am guessing he can't stream it.
