I had a couple of strange dreams, but I only remember bits of them:
  1.  my parents, I and several cousins - no brothers - are in the west, maybe Colorado? - and we're near the edge of a cliff looking across at all these people climbing rock formations.  One falls into the space, and it turns out there's a river and then everyone with me is swimming.
  2.  I'm sorta at my Aunt Lois; home and a mall and a movie about a giant. I think Jennifer Anniston, an actress I'm not particularly fond of, may have been in this one.

Joshie was tied up yesterday - and will be tied up today - with band rehearsals, so I'm not leaving the apartment. I must finish Act One of GUYS & DOLLS.

My wonderful sister-in-law Jo sent the property taxes yesterday. $604 pissed away and due next Friday, the 22nd. That's what the next Guys and Dolls check will pay for.

Ten years later, the property still hasn't sold, and we've paid $30,000+ in taxes, all because my dumbass brothers in their greed did not want to pay a realtor commission ten years ago.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I'm having lunch today with my friend Becky and will give her some ALA goodies.  We attended many annual conferences together - Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans...

Thanks, DR Elmore!  Janet is actually my sister-in-law's sister, but I'm sure Kathy could use some vibes, too.

My dream -- well, who the hell even knows what it was about, but it seemed to be obsessed with the music of "Belle", the opening number in Beauty and the Beast.

I have to pay a couple of ugly bills and get a little outdoors work done today.

Then at some point today or tomorrow I must load the Gypsy string reduction programming back into my keyboard and start making sure it's all playable - and practice playing through it reading it off the iPad.   I'll also correct some notes and accidentals errors I noticed in passing, then give my friend who arranged it a clean corrected copy that's all in one document.  (He had each cue in a separate PDF file, and I have to wonder how anyone ever used it in that format.)  It's not long till we'll be getting together on that.

TOD:
Cherry pie is the favorite for both me and Mark and we almost never like the same foods. Mince meat is horrid, but I love almost every other kind of pie. Apple and peach are wonderful. I prefer a lattice crust over a dutch crust, but I would eat dutch apple too. The best pie comes from the House of Pies where they make Bruce's beloved peanut butter pie, which is very good, but I'd like it better if there was some chocolate in it. I found one other place that made a chocolate peanut butter pie, but they also put banana in it, which kind of ruined it. The best frozen store-bought pie is made by Claimjumper.

Good morning.....the latest edition of the Broadway Radio Show is up on the site.  It's a look back at the career of the late John McMartin, one of my favorite theatre performers.  We'll hear from shows like Little Mary Sunshine, Sweet Charity, Grey Gardens, and, of course, Follies.  Enjoy!

Maybe I'm up, maybe I'm not - I've slept about two-and-a-half hours so far.  Ridic.

My mother made a delicious vegetarian mince meat pie I loved.  I haven'the had a slice of mince meat pie in years.
