I have no major plans today beyond making the bed and working on Guys & Dolls. The sooner we finish Act One, the sooner we are paid.

It's time for Photographic Evidence.

First, waiting for the train at South Norwalk, the connection between the Danbury branch line and the main New Haven line.

Exciting, eh?

DR ChasSmith, I had no idea you were taking photos! Those are great.  Rob has been reading the memoirs as I send him a chapter at a time.  Since Steve was one of my best friends in college, and since he and his wife Rebecca were my first friends to move to New York, he is mentioned several times. Rob couldn't believe this was the first time I'd seen Steve in 40 years.

Tuesday morning greetings!  Here I am using my computer and NOT staring into the bright morning sun - compensation for 3-days' work and some sore muscles.

DR Elmore, I thought about asking you guys to just stand for a photo, but my phone camera is so undependable in quality that I don't want to waste people's time in a risky venture.

I'm also happy when I get decent "natural" shots, which isn't always easy from behind people's backs, etc., but I did rather like these.

TOD:

I don't know about musicals being revived, but I would love to see the musical versions of RAGTIME and THE HAPPY TIME made into movies.

Well, a live performance recording from yesterday has turned up, to my delight.  I may need to hire Anthony Morelli to break iy into tracks.

DJ had sent me a beautiful tune that I harmonized and then did a vocal arrangement.  I suggested that it be used not as a song but as the framework for the scene in the script that came after.  Now the duet for the young married couple becomes the framework for the scene between the potential romantic couple, and it's my favorite moment in the show.

Well, I must go to bed now.  I have to get to work earlier than usual this week (at least) because of my new staff member.

It's 8:20 in the a.m. and I'm at work.  IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE NORMAL??

Ok I KNOW I typed that correctly I watched spellcheck change it. Why would it change Rosemary's baby to Roismarys bany?!

Now that I have a tablet with spellcheck I understand what everyone has been complaining about.  Too many of the changes don't make any sense.

I see my doctor on Thursday and we will discuss this issue.

I hope your doctor will have a new approach that will work, or send you to a specialist who can find the cause and a treatment.
