JUBILEE.  I don't know who should be in it, but DR Elmore and Mr. Rob Berman must be on the creative team.

I wish Carol Burnett were 40 years younger to play the Queen.  Maybe Andrea Martin?

I woke up at 5:15 with my spine jammed up and feeling somewhat nauseated. My plans for the day changed to trying to unjam my spine. If I don't seem to be in the best of moods, forgive me. I was able to get it to release a bit, and even make a run to my favorite food store.

I recently purchased Ming Chew's book "Permanent Pain Cure." Ming is a NY physical therapist who injured his shoulder and found that conventional PT did nothing. (My experience as well.) A chiropractor Ming met told him he could undo the shoulder injury using the Active Release Technique (ART). Ming was skeptical, but tried it. It didn't get him to 100%, but it really helped. If I was in NY I'd see Ming. But as I'm not, I found a chiropractor near me who does ART. I'll be seeing him tomorrow. I'm hoping we can make some progress that is less painful than the Thai Torture. If you hear some strange sounds tomorrow around 1 pm, that may be me.

That sounds horrible Jeanne.

It's not pleasant. But even worse is when doctors tell me this condition doesn't hurt. WHAT??!! Many doctors I've met really are living in LalaLand.

So tomorrow I'll talk to a new doc, who is hopefully more sensitive than some others I've known. He doesn't have to get me to 100%, just help break up some of the scar tissue in my neck--namely, the part that is just too painful for me when the Thai Torturer works on it.

After a good day, I had a horrible night.  I know you are all sick of hearing about My Left Leg, but there's clearly a problem that my HMO and doctor are not finding. For the last several days, after a day on my feet, my leg becomes recalcitrant to hold my body or to walk.  Last night I slept fitfully because the pain was intense.  Mt doctor who gave me the hip injection said it would be good for 3-4 months, and this is not the third month yet.

So I lie here in pain worrying about the possibility of degenerative bone disease and other pleasant thoughts.

I'm so sorry. I hope they find the culprit quickly and you get some relief. My experience is that you have to be persistent. They downplay everything.

Well, a live performance recording from yesterday has turned up, to my delight.  I may need to hire Anthony Morelli to break iy into tracks.

DJ had sent me a beautiful tune that I harmonized and then did a vocal arrangement.  I suggested that it be used not as a song but as the framework for the scene in the script that came after.  Now the duet for the young married couple becomes the framework for the scene between the potential romantic couple, and it's my favorite moment in the show.

I hope we'll be able to hear some of this in coming weeks.

Speaking of quinoa, Native Foods Cafe makes a delicious Ensalada Azteca: romaine, pumpkin seeds, jicama, cucumber salsa, and mango dressing on a bed of white quinoa. So good!

Have you asked the Thai Torturer to ease up in that area?
