Last week, I sent several emails and PMs on Facebook to friends from the past 40 years with inquiries about dates, performances, and, in one case, a very lovely email that I can no longer locate.

DR Ginny responded, and the others all said they would get back to me. No one said no, no one said they were too busy, no one turned me down, so why the fat hell have I heard nothing from any of them in the past week? It wasn't as though I'd asked for a pint of blood or a limb.

Because that's what I feel like. I woke up at four in the a.m. sneezing like nobody's business, got up, and took a Benadryl. Lying there waiting to fall back to sleep is the last thing I remember. Didn't wake up till just now. And boy am I groggy.

And what a day yesterday must have been!

I know how magical it can be to walk through a studio. But to do so in the presence of that kind of company, and to be admitted to that kind of an inner sanctum...

Well, I don't think anyone will be topping this one for quite some time.

Congrats to BK on a job well done and on a day that could hardly be topped. And thank you for sharing it.

Totally. Just from being around him at Kritzerland those two nights in NYC, I believe his love of all of that is unmatched.

The big offender played reeds on several shows and sent me a really lovely email about 3 years ago. I want a copy of that email, and I do not understand his passive-aggressive attitude.

We lived outside of Boston for a couple of years. The children were young so most of our outings were to the wonderful children'should museums I would like to have had more time exploring the city. It was the first place we lived that we could take the train into the city ☺

One thing I've been learning -- which isn't to say I like it -- is that remarkably few people share my own appreciation for looking back and capturing memories, let alone with any degree of accuracy. I can hold my own family up as an example, but many friends and acquaintances as well.

If I received such a request from someone, whether I'd known them well or had only had the most casual friendship with them, I'd be all over that shit. I hope you get more responses, DR Elmore.

Yes DR ELMORE - I meant to respond earlier.

I have heard of the theatre, but I have never been there. It's quite a drive UP NORTH....and I don't know anybody involved.

They used to be in the Palladium, the Center for the Performing Arts....a white elephant of a place that they built with NO nearby parking....but I think they had to move to a storefront recently....but I may be mistaken.
