For no good reason, here's 30 seconds of Rip Taylor tossing confetti to "Happy Days Are Here Again"

Monday afternoon greetings!  Met Andrea and her husband at 9am for breakfast and just got home about half an hour ago.  After we ate, we went back to their hotel where Andrea and I went through her gold mine of theatre memorabilia and visited.  DR Elmore has a great treat in store when he receives some materials from her.

Here's one photo from my Lucy days that I'd never seen.  My guess is that someone was checking my make-up:

Jason Hughes' character Warren just headed for Australia on This Life, and he's out of the show. It's so much like a frank, mature, more honest non-sitcom version of Friends, with a bit of sex and nudity.

This BBC series is quite amazing.

On, no.

Poor Darrell died far too young, but his health had been poor and he was a big as a house.  His weight when he died was rather frightening.  He was a true mensch, driving the infirm to vote on election day and a huge Middies supporter.  I admired him.

The Kritzerland at Sterling's 70th anniversary show was wonderful! There's not much I can say that Bruce hasn't already said. Richard Sherman's song about hygiene was hilarious and he was reading the lyrics, but got a little bit tongue-tied in the middle of it and then quickly said, "Who wrote these lyrics?!" which got a big laugh out of the audience.
The two new men in the show were great and I look forward to seeing them again. "Love Revolution" is one of my favorite musical theater songs and it's almost never sung, so it was great hearing it again for the first time in years.
Bruce did a great job filling in for Guy Haines. His voice sounded great, as always, and he handled the complicated and wordy "The Maladjusted Jester" with aplomb.

As always Amy, thank you for the show details.  "Who wrote the lyrics"......😄

Back from a two-and-a-half mile jog and have shaved and will shortly shower.  Then I shall be on my way for a little rehearsing, sound check, and then the birthday concert.  So, I labor on Labor Day.
