Friday afternoon greetings!  I was outta here before 8:30 this morning to have breakfast with my friend Becky.  We hadn't seen each other since July 20, so after we ate at First Watch we went across to Starbucks and visited for another couple of hours.  They've been at their boat in Michigan and will be going back in a week or so to get it ready for winter.

At 5pm, we're picking up my friend Sharon's husband and we'll meet her for dinner near her workplace in Dayton.  Then we'll see Human Race Theatre's Sweeney Todd.  Tom and Sharon are HRT subscribers, so they get 2 free tickets to one of the shows each season.  Sharon gave us our choice and I'd been thinking of going to see this one anyway.  Our other choice was the last show of the season, On Golden Pond.  Glad it worked out for tonight.

36%.  Would so love to get to 40% by end of tonight - that would be a rather incredible way to start a campaign :)

FRIDAY!!!

We had a fine opening night last night with attendance of 123...on a sale of 133....

Everybody was talking very FAST, so some laughs were missed, but in general the audience was very enthusiastic, and the actors were very good.

Great news, Jrand!

I do hope that George is okay.

Yes, I am quite okay.  Thanks for asking.  I got home last night after having a meal at McDonalds (one of their new Signature Crafted burgers...I got the Sweet BBQ Bacon toppings with grilled chicken), and when I came home, I went onto my old computer (I still need to upgrade and set up my new computer) and checked my e-mails (I have six different e-mail addresses for various reasons ;) ).

I'm also trying an experiment with Facebook.

I'm using their advertising services to push my playbook of ROBINSON & RAFT.

I've never tried this with them before, so we'll see what kind of results I get.

I then had to order a birthday gift for my sister, but it's from my niece.  She'll pay me back when she can.  It was on National Geographic's shopping website, so I spent quite a bit of time just looking around there.  Then, I went to this website that sells coins, probably mostly for investment.  For some reason, I love looking at various coins.  I actually spent several hours just looking around at all the coins and bullion and specialty items.  I was completely fascinated.

I tend to look more at the silver items because they're the only things that I could possibly afford...if I wanted to buy anything...which I ended up doing (and I really like silver).  I bought three 1-ounce silver coins.  One was an actual Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise $1 coin(!) that I bought in honor of Star Trek's 50th anniversary yesterday.  Another was an Indian head/buffalo tails 1-ounce coin (not currency, just one ounce of silver), and a 1-ounce domed basketball coin (also not currency).  I got this basketball coin for my niece because she's a big fan of the Seattle Storm women's basketball team, and the coin didn't specify men's or women's, just basketball. :)

Then, I finally did my evening ablutions, went up into my bedroom, and went right to sleep.  By then, it was after 2 am. ::)

;)

And that was my evening last night.

I do hope that George is okay.

George was still at work at 8:30 (West coast time) last night, so hopefully he just fell asleep when he got home.

See my previous posts. ;D

I had a really good time at the library, and I am home.  My research today was not a success, but perhaps the next time will be.

Fun DR GINNY.  We expect a full show report.

This group had a very interesting take on OLIVER a couple of years ago, so I'll be interested to see what they do tonight.

They premiered my friend Joe Thalken's show "Was," and I think they also did Joe's show with Tom Jones, "Harold and Maude."  We want them to look at "Moonshine and Mistletoe."
