Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in retrograde and Uranus, and now it is time for you to post until the retrograde cows come home.

T.O.D.

I don't know much about cover albums, other than 101 Strings albums that I used to buy back in the Sixties.  But, I suppose:

JEEPERS CREEPERS - produced by some up and coming young talent

And yet, the sherlock holmes CD gets all raves on Amazon so maybe I'm being too hard on it.

Sax and Violence all raves, too.  The Morricone album has not one review.

I'm sure there must be some LITTLE DANCER songs on YouTube, but they're not popping up for me right now.

If the Marni Nixon version of MARY POPPINS counts for the TOD, that's a big favorite of my childhood listening years.

More on the TOD:  I very much liked the disco version of "I Am What I Am" from LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.

Somehow I managed to not know that Andre Previn had written an opera on A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, but a friend handed me the CD of it yesterday and I look forward to listening to it sometime soon.

TOD:

Living Voices Paint Your Wagon

There were several LV albums on RCA Camden that I liked, but this was my favorite.

Of course MR BK's Trotter Cd's and Jeepers Creepers.

DR JohnG, that production of SOUTH PACIFIC set in a psych ward was at NYU, directed (I think) by An Bogart.  R&H did not shut it down.

I don't think I've ever heard of anything being good when it comes to Mercury.

Perhaps that was wishful thinking on my part. Ann Bogart's stylized production of Once in a Lifetime, choreographed to within an inch of its llife, was irritating and unfunny.
