If we were living here when DR George was in The Brain we could have gone to see it.

George, the potatoe-fest sounds like fun

It always is.  It's also rather free-form.  The potatoes are cooked and left in our staff room for people to eat whenever they want, so not everyone sits down at the same time.  But most people will eat together when the potatoes are ready.

Sort-of on the excellent one-man show list except that they have extremely brief appearances by people in small roles:

Christopher Plummer in Barrymore
Alan Alda in Q.E.D.

Do Spalding Grey's monologues qualify for the TOD?  If so, I'd include them as well.

I slept well, although I had strange dreams.  The only ones I remember were something about winter with DR Ginny, and a weird one with Angel Lansbury as a houseguest driving everyone a bit mad.

Yesterday, I learned some new tricks with Preview on my Mac.  I felt quite sccomplished. I spent too much time resizing photos I liked and converting pdf photos to jpg files.

If only I could learn Finale as easily!

Today my 2016 Carols For A Cure CD will arrive.  I look forward to hearing the final mix of the Moonshine & Mistletoe song.

Hmm, that might work - has anyone ever been permitted to do a gender-reversed Man Who Came to Dinner?

TOD:

Of course, I'm prejudiced on this question.

However, the best performance in a one-person play I've ever seen was the late Sid Conrad playing Spencer Tracy in my play, TRACY.  The curtain went up and, within the first thirty seconds, you believed that you were watching Spencer Tracy.

Sid was a magnificent actor.
