TOD: I'm going to my friends' (Dennis and Carol) house for "dinner." I'm supposed to be there at 11 am (!). Dinner is at noon. They have plans for this evening with in-laws--that's the reason for the early meal.

I have been in the basement with the laundry. The last time I did the wash, I lost about six pairs of white cotton gloves I wear at night after moisturizing my hands. I was hoping that someone found them and had left them on the laundry table. I believe they have vanished for good and I need to order more.

While I was out, I received a dinner invite for 5:00, and I accepted. It's in Harlem, and I can get there on the No. 7 or 11 bus. I'll leave around 4.

We may have some company during the day.....we are having meatloaf and mashed potatoes and green beans....so that will be nice.

We will have lots of turkey leftovers shared by family members in the next couple of days.

I did buy a pumpkin pie and Cool Whip yesterday. We shall see if I eat any of it.
