Oy again.    :)

But, thank goodness, their website has it still continuing next week...

That's all fine and good for YOU, but it's not playing anywhere around here!  When is it coming out on DVD??  That's what I wanna know!

Oh Good!

Charlotte and this damned movie "The Best Worst Thing . . ."  are going to be the death of me.  She takes her time getting back to me about possbile times, and now, when I go to buy tickets for tomorrow, there's no goddam 12:30 showing.

Did you grab another time?

No,. she has too many goddam commitment. I felt like telling her to go when she can and I would see it without her. She dicked around all weekend and left me hanging.

YouTube wasn't working any better for me than it was for BK, but I enjoyed what I did hear and see.

I hope you like it. I had to take a break for a few nights. Lady Macbeth in season 3 was getting to be a bit much for me. No fault of the show; my patience wears thin with certain personalities.

John G, you're right about all the strong women. Some interesting things happen with Elizabeth Bligh in season 3. Noni Hazlehurst, who plays her, does a wonderful job, I think. Lots of dimensions to her character.

Thanks for all the Discover vibes and comments.

My new card came today, less than 24 hours after reporting it. To my surprise, the embossed account number was missing from the front of the card. I phoned and was told that it's no longer needed and this is the new standard. I asked about the email notification that DR Jennifer mentioned last night. I have that on my Amazon credit card, but didn't know if Discover offered it. They do, and I now have it on this card.

I must now update my account number on numerous websites.

As for the thief, I hope he/she finds himself/herself stranded someplace unpleasant!

I hope so, too, DR Jeanne, but I think we can be pretty sure that he/she has a ton of stolen cards as backup.

I had a nice surprise last night. BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES season 3 is now available on Acorn. they usually let us know in advance, but this wasn't mentioned ahead of time. It was just what I needed. NOT a good choice for our DR Vixmom, but worked fine for me.

I put on an Amahl and the Night Visitors I'd picked up for a buck last year and hadn't listened to yet.  It was produced by John Yap, and I was sorry to find it lacking in both a satisfying recording quality and in performance (it's conducted by David Syrus), even though recorded "in the presence of Gian Carlo Menotti".  But has any effort yet approached the level of the two RCA/NBC recordings?  I think it ain't gonna happen.

Yes.   :)   But it's lovely to think it could be otherwise.

I decided not to comment on this-lol  Yes, she does a wonderful job, as does the actress playing Olivia whom I agree was the big surprise in this.

We have a card without the embossed numbers and it is much easier to read than the one with them.  I hope you don't need the email notification but it is nice you have it.
