I know about the sacking of Ron Field, but did they include any reference to that in the film?  Right after seeing it I wondered if I'd missed some mention of it.

Never mentioned it.

Seeing Merrily turn into Follies ...

The most apt review I've read yet. Scarily apt.

Amazon says Best Worst Thing is available for free download on Android. I have an iPhone. Figures. But George you might want to check it out.

I have no educated opinion on Mr. Mozart.

Well, Wolfy's not much for intellectual stuff anyway.  He's as down to earth as any coprophiliac can be.

Being a musical genius is just his schtick!

I have learned that Warner Archives "will be" releasing Blu ray discs of:

Wait Until Dark

Bells Are Ringing

(after "Battleground" and "Bad Day At Black Rock").

Mozart sometimes works beautifully for me. Thanks to Bergman's film of The Magic Flute, I learned this work at a relatively early age. Still love a lot of it.

I also enjoy some of his orchestral work, though there are some pieces that are too mannered.

I have no educated opinion on Mr. Mozart.

Two of my most favorite Mozart soprano pieces are Kathleen Battle's performance of "Giunse alfin il momento . . . Deh, vieni non tardar" and Sarah Brightman's recording of "Alleluja."

LOL DR CHAS SMITH - it was my typing.

DR JANE - it looks like one of the relays melted on the motherboard, but there was no explanation about why it might happen....it was about 3.5 years old.

It's playing in Bellingham, which is over 150 miles away!  It's playing in the mornings, but I couldn't go see that and be back in time for our Saturday night performance of The Physician In Spite of Himself. :-\ I'll try the Amazon download.

Well, we just got official word that all Thurston county Timberland libraries (including the Service Center where I work) will close due to (potential) weather issues.

Not necessarily.  I've heard that the snow this afternoon will turn to rain tonight, so it might not be as cold tomorrow.  We'll see.

I thought it might be a result of the unsaid person messing around with it ;D

It hasn't snowed there yet?  We have already had snow, our first snowfall in Vancouver.

I took two walks totaling around 7 miles.  The sun was shinning at 10:00 and it was 32 degrees out.  My second walk, closer to noon, was 28 degrees, dreary and snowing.  Both walks the wind was blowing rather hard.  I about got blown over in the morning.

No snow yet, but I'd heard that there was some south of here and heading our way.

It was mostly cloudy today but we are expecting to see some snow showers this weekend, but that won't end there, it is expected to continue until Monday.
