Listening to the Sibelius second with Sanderling - the sound seems less muffled on this one. And at times I have to say it's almost like listening to a different symphony from the other versions I've heard. I'm quite liking Mr. Sanderling's way with these.

When I left my place, there was no snow coming down, but the theater is farther south and away from the Puget Sound, so it was snowing heavily there.

They offered to do it next Thursday, but some of the cast members have other commitments on Thursday. So, I guess not.

I am not too worried about missing the actor's benefit, but I feel sorry for the people who can't afford to come to the show except on Pay-what-you-can performances.

I guess I first saw Bruce on HAPPY DAYS and the ice skating episode of LAVERNE AND SHIRLEY, but I never knew the name to match the face until I saw THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL. I stumbled across this site trying to find an address for Jerry Herman. I had never seen a site with such banter and good humor. After lurking for about a week, I got up the nerve to join.
