Rob Berman is coming by around 4:30, so I will spend the afternoon on Guys & Dolls until he arrives.

I certainly would have DR JANE.  I don't like any of my steak to be pink or red.

The most consistently good steak I gave had is at the  Texas Roadhouse when're the Vixter worked and it is quite reasonably priced as well

We are back from the birthday bash.  The middle honoree (Timothy, age 9) and Dad stayed home due to a stomach bug, but the rest of us had a nice time at Rev. Amy's church.  We're going there tomorrow for 10:35am worship, per MY birthday request.

The best steak I think we ever had was a Steak Diane in a little place called The Frog and The Peach .  It was a small restaurant in a converted house in St James on Long Island.  We had it for our Valentines Dinner shortly after we were engaged

Sadly the restaurant is no more...

I still cannot get over this "Thank you, America" tour that our president-elect is taking.  He doesn't want to attend intel briefings, he's going to produce the dreadful "The Apprentice," and he's thanking America for electing him? Does he think he won Miss America? Was being elected an "I need to be loved" trophy? Are we really stuck with this moron for the next four years?

I get the discs through Netflix, DR Matthew, if that's any help.

I really like steak.  However I need it to be medium to medium-well (closer to the latter). I only like to see a tiny bit of pink and could not eat a rare steak.

My cough has become rather dry and rough sounding.  I might as well take a Benadryl tonight and see if it helps.  A loose cough is bad enough all night, this would definitely keep us awake.

I enjoyed Moby-Dick so much last night that when I found myself with a couple of idle hours this afternoon I put it back in and watched it again while listening to the Nick and Julie and Paul Seydor commentary track which, as always, is wonderful.

It's so satisfying to catch up on a classic film that "everyone" except me has known all their lives.  I mean, as long as it's a good one.

Because now I can feel part of the club, go to parties, show off my knowledge.

It's about this ... whale ...

We  Decided to pay it forward and paid out what we would have without the discount I hope the server (who has been there for the past few years and also asked after the Vixter) was pleased with his 200 % tip
