I am rather tired.  From the doctor's office I walked to the post office, then worked my way to Fred Meyer to pick up my prescription.  I filled a small shopping basket, sat at Peet's with some hot chocolate and waited for Keith to pick me up.  We then walked some more after returning home.  According to fitbit I walked 10 miles today

I watched/listened to the live streaming of "Bright Star" and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It was great to see the story (abbreviated as it was).  Great singers, all.  Also, I looked, but I didn't see Larry in the audience.

And now, I'm leaving work will go shopping for something to bring to my work's annual holiday potluck!  It's a big to-do with a gift exchange and morning break food-stuffs, and lunch food-stuffs.

Be back later.

It was quite an event.  i think everyone in the Broadway cast showed up, and outside of one or two mike glitches, I thought it was an amazing night.  I loved the show and it was great to see how smoothly it worked as a concert.

I was in Row N, with Eric Dietz who worked on the show and Rob Berman's parents who came up from Baltimore for it.

Bright Star's still available for viewing on TheatreMania.com. I'm starting to watch it now.

And it didn't produce a meatball salad with Jell-O.

It has pecans, pineapple and cottage cheese all floating in lemon and lime gelatin.

I'm almost through with that book, and I find that it's petered out toward the end. The writer seems to want to wrap things up too quickly.

In the beginning, he had tons of explorations of emotions. At the end, Marie Loare and her great-uncle reunite after harrowing experiences, and it merits a single sentence.

Hmm, favorite Jell-O salad would be a tomato aspic with shrimp.  My mom used to make this every year for either Christmas or Thanksgiving (or both).

My sister hated it, so my mom used to also make a cranberry gelatin salad with apples.  My sister loved that one, and I hated that one.
