I was curious what the requirement is to pass the DMV exams.  The few states I saw it is 20/40.

DR Ginny living where you do for so long I expect you know your way around and don't depend on reading street signs as much as I do.

I have never failed a vision exam though I am sure without my new glasses I would have a few times.  I remember once the eye doctor told Keith not to let me drive until I got my new glasses ;D

That was in our early 20's when we couldn't afford glasses and hadn't gone for a check.  My father sent us to his good friend who did not charge us for the exam and reduced the bill on the glasses.

DR Ginny, will you be getting progressive lenses for you new sunglasses?

I need prescription sunglasses. I know a progressive would be best, but I'm put off by the high cost. I'm thinking about a single-vision lens with only distance vision. I wouldn't be able to read small print, but I could probably drive just fine. Decisions, decisions.

I'll be seeing the ophthalmologist on Monday about a new eye problem. I hope I like her. I need someone for non-surgical issues.

Congrats to DR Elmore on his new work!

Just what we wanted to hear.

So far most of it's inquiries.  Two things appear to be certain.  I think I'll lose one because they want the work for free or as little as possible.

I've been wanting to watch THE DRESSMAKER again before I return it. I may do that tonight.

I think today's rain is over, but it's still overcast and gray. Sleep-inducing.

Yes, DR Jeanne, I'm getting progressive lenses so that I can read maps and such.  On our recent road trip to Atlanta with Richard driving and me navigating, it was a real pain to switch from my sunglasses to my readers.  They're expensive, but my insurance helps a bit.

Hello HHW friends.  I rarely comment here, but try to read this when I can.
Great show last night  ;) .  I am biased  :D
However, friends of mine who came to see the show yesterday, first time Kritzerlanders, remarked how terrific it was to hear lesser known material performed.  They also said the kids did a bang up job on some very challenging material.  Hopefully some of those performances will be uploaded as BK often does.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Well, I'm off to my parents' for our weekly family dinner!  We usually also play Phase 10, but last week a couple of people felt burned out and want to play a different game...maybe Aggravation.  We'll see!

Be back later.
