I spent most of yesterday with my friend David while his wife was having fun with friends of hers at a bridal shower.  I posted yesterday that she was going to a baby shower, but I was wrong about that.

[George]

At first, we were going to have breakfast downtown at a local place, but when we got there, it was very crowded, and we would've had a 20-30 minute wait, so we decided to go to IHOP.  We got there and it was about a 15 minute wait.  Oh, well.

Are you just now getting home?

I can't sleep.

[George]

After breakfast (I had the eggs Benedict and hash browns), we went to the west side mall and walked around and ended up at Macy's.  David wanted to look at a jacket that was supposed to be on sale, but he couldn't find the one he had seen before, but he was able to find another jacket that he liked.  It was on sale.  I got three new shirts that were on sale, too!

No, I was doing some stuff on my computer for Theater Artists Olympia, and didn't think about anything else.

There were a lot of people there, but it wasn't horribly crowded.  We were able to walk around and in a couple of stores without any trouble.

After the mall, we went to World Market and we each bought a few things.  I got some flavored mineral water and some Coffee Crisp candy bars (impulse purchases).  I won't be able to have the candy bars until after my "procedure" on Tuesday, but I figure that they can be my reward.

After the mall, David wanted to go to the Harley Davidson store in the Hawks Prairie area of Lacey.  It's across the street from the Hawks Prairie Restaurant where Tom, Jane, Keith, and Sharry and Micheal (Tom's friends) and I met for lunch.

After looking around just to look around, we first went back to my place to chat and to wait for David's wife to be finished with her bridal shower, but it was taking longer than he expected, so when she finally called and said that it would be even longer because they wanted to visit more, David and I went to Taco Bell for dinner.  After a while, she arrived and we all chatted a bit more, then they went home to Seattle and I came home to Tumwater.

Nope.  He has never ridden a motorcycle in his life.  I think he just like looking at them.

I also like looking at motorcycles.   I just wish Bryan didn't like riding them.
