Airborne tablets seemed to have shrunk in size from my last bottle - and they taste different.

DR Druxy did you like the movie?

I guess I left out the word "best," didn't I?

Fixed it.

Healing vibes for BK and for Richard Sherman.

I ushered for a small choir concert in one of the smaller theater venues at the arts center. They were doing music Mozart might have inspired. Everyone from Beethoven to Ravel to Gershwin. The main theater was doing the Pink Floyd Experience. For a short time, you could hear Pink Floyd over the singers. Even the singers could hear Pink Floyd. It was odd.

Then I watched the end of the One and Only Genuine Original Family Band, which had a young Goldie Hawn and a young Kurt Russell together with Sherman Brothers songs. I complained the other night about the overly political nature of the script. Well, it got worse. The Democrat, Grover Cleveland wins the popular vote but loses the electoral college vote to Benjamin Harrison. (Cleveland would win again in four years.)

Really too close for comfort.

The Krab Green Chili mac and cheese turned out OK. It would have been better last night when it was hot and bubbly.

There were only two or three other homemade mac and cheeses, including one that was smoked (quite good and fresh out of the smoker) and another that was mac and cheese biscuits.

Starting to watch The Asphalt Jungle. I don't think I've seen this before. Good noir look. Great cast.

Back from a good opening of La Cage.

Cast is going out, but no par-taying for me tonight.  I needs my relaxation and sleep.

Friday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I went to the bank today to check our safe deposit box for our marriage certificate, which we'll need for a Medicare appointment week after next.  I'd already looked (twice) in all the obvious places here at home to no avail and, alas, it was not at the bank either.  We can get a duplicate, of course, but it perplexes me that I can put my hands easily on our birth and baptism certificates, my college acceptance letter and transcripts, every card we received for our wedding, Rob's birth, and our move into this house, but not the one item for which we have an immediate need.  My sister, the genealogist, told me that as soon as we obtain the duplicate, we'll find the original...

A co-worker of mine and his wife got married in Mexico (they're both American born and bred) and he said that they've never had an actual marriage certificate.  He was in the navy and it was never questioned.  I don't know what he would do if he would need an actual piece of paper.  He's never been concerned, though. :)

I hope the navy married them.  It is my understanding those marriages are not legal.  He really should find out.  It would be terrible if something happened to one of them and the other was denied their rights by marriage.

I forgot that he did mention that they did get remarried in the states so they have proof of that, at least...but they celebrate their anniversary on their original marrige date.

I passed the blood pressure test at the doctor's office this morning. He also cleared me to hike if I do it carefully. If the foot doesn't get better in a couple months, he will send me for some kind of physical therapy thing where they make you cry out in pain but will fix it.

I didn't realize you had been told not to hike.  Vibes you can soon return to your normal hikes!

~~~Ditto!!~~~
Well, we have 11 in the audience tonight (the director is also here, so he makes 12), and the show is going well.  They like it.  Hopefully, they'll tell their friends and we get more to come.  This Sunday's matinee and next Saturday's closing night have more presold tickets.  That's good. :)
