Last recording day. I will be happy to not be in that sound booth again, but I think it will be a good album.  I really appreciate the organization and talent our music director Brent has put into this week.  He has done a fantastic job.

I don't have my flyer handy right now to check, but is Brent the one who MD'd the staged reading last summer?

Yes.  He's been a part of the team since the first day.

Today I must study SUPERSTAR, and tonight I sit with Keyboard 2 to observe.

Playing some auditions for three shows on Sunday, so tomorrow I need to get several numbers from INTO THE WOODS into my fingers, along with whatever anyone's likely to audition with from SEUSSICAL - of which I know not one damned whit.  The other show, thank God, is WEST SIDE STORY.  That's my bailiwick.

I haven't been to the Goodwill Store in three weeks.  I am going this morning.  My name, address, and telephone number are written on a piece of paper in my pocket in cast I fall down in the aisle.....I also have my phone.

So we shall see.

ChasSmith, Seussical has some lovely music in it though you can't tell from the cast album.

T.O.D.

Ordinarily, I'd go out to Redbox and rent PATRIOT'S DAY for the weekend, but I still don't have the stamina to sit through a 2 hour movie.  I have a bunch of first-rate one-hour episodic TV shows that were recorded in my absence last week (e.g. CHICAGO P.D., LAW & ORDER: SVU, etc.) but I'm finding it difficult to stay focused on them, too.

I know.  It will get better every day, but healing is a bitch!

When I was recovering from my shoulder surgery I watched a lot of hour shows I had recorded, and surprisingly I read a lot.  I slept on and off during the day as I couldn't sleep at night.  Two hour movies were best if they were not too deep and breaks could be taken while watching.

Went to the doctor's and finally found out about the thyroid. Seems those odd cells on them thyroid were actually thyroid cells. Mystery solved.

Great News!  Do you know why they appeared abnormal enough that further testing was needed?

And now today. I find out later about whether I get the promotion. I'm not too optimistic, but it's not in my hands.

Fingers crossed!

Friday, and the end of March.  Unbelievable.  Seriously, is someone trying to tell me the year 2017 is one-quarter over and done with?  How did this happen?

Shocking when you put it that way.

Reading is difficult.  Can't concentrate more than a few minutes.

I get the morning newspaper; read the headlines and sub-headlines and that's about it.

No falling down allowed.  You don't take your wallet & drivers license with you?

I would expect reading to be difficult, which is why I was surprised I could do it.  I was still reading paper back then and asked all my friends for lightweight books and easy reads.

Yes Good News for DR JOHN G.

Yes, DR JANE, I do carry wallet, driver's license, etc - but a piece of paper is easier to find and includes the phone number that my DL doesn't have on it.

Bruce, aren't wedge salads with blue cheese dressing, AKA  a big chunk of iceberg lettuce with roquefort dressing, popular in L.A.?

I should be better about carrying that piece of paper when I walk.  I kind of got out of the habit since moving here.

No. She offered no opinion on that.
