There's more fresh hell today, and that's all I will say about that.

On the good news, I am seeing Beautiful: the Carole King Musical tonight.  Looking forward to it.

BEAUTIFUL is a very good antidote to fresh hell - enjoy!

I may have mentioned on these here pages that I am going to retire at the end of August 2017.

MUCH to do between now and then.

I am relocating to the east coast.  I'm going to be clearing out a whole lot of stuff and, hopefully, transporting my most treasured possessions via some moving company.

Just the anticipation gives me a nervous stomach.  Have spoken with my doctor about it, too.

Congrats on the impending retirement, and Good Luck with the move!!

Sorry to hear that Garry Marshall died - again.  I'm sure he'll be dying many more times on Facebook.

Devastating news about Don Rickles.

He was one of the nicest (and funniest) people in the business.

I met him through my publicity client, Jack Carter, and he later co-starred in my first movie.

Thank you for stopping in and sharing your memories.

My atomic clock at home has problems with Pacific Savings Time.

I set it forward on the correct day.  Last night, it went back an hour.

When I woke up, I thought it was 5:30 a.m., but it was really 6:30 a.m.

When you go to bed tonight tell Alexa what time you want to wake up.

Moves are very stressful, especially dealing with the moving company.

Staying calm vibes while you do this.

I go away fro 30 minutes or an hour, and when I come back, I was the last person to post.

I hate when that happens.

DR George I would agree with you regarding The Umbrellas of Cherbourg if it felt like a 50's movie to me ;)

I agree with you on that, but since it starts in 1957, I added it to my list. ;D

And now, I'm off to the theater.  Tonight begins the last weekend of The Trip to Bountiful.

Be back later.

I liked Beautiful very much.  We went backstage after to see our Moonshine & Mistletoe producer Kevin who plays Neil Sedaka and one of the Righteous Brothers and Liz Larsen.  We also ran into the wonderful guitarist Kevin Ramessar who played guitar, mandolin and banjo on the recording last week.

Listening to music whilst continuing breaking in the speakers.  I'm sure I've done at least twenty-five hours by now.

Starting to watch Man of La Mancha. I hate movie musicals in which the sound is so bad that when they start to sing their voices sound disembodied. You see Peter O'Toole's lips move, but the once strong, now faint voice sounds like it's coming from off camera some place. This might have been a better movie without the songs.

Back from a hellish Fish rehearsal and what seemed like an entire day of hellish driving around half the fricken state in constantly varying degrees of rain.

DR Elmore - glad you liked Beautiful... it's one of my favorites as well.  I'll be seeing it yet again next year in San Jose as it's part of my season.

I was sorry to hear of Don Rickles' death.  He was quite the discovery in my college years, and I went to see him a couple of times while living in L.A.  Just a few months ago I was bemoaning the fact that I'd long ago lost the program he'd autographed at an appearance in that theater-in-the-round out in the west Valley in the early 1970s.

We to an outdoor party at Mission San Francisco de la Espada, one of the missions in town. Beautiful evening, a little on the chilly side by the end of the evening.
