Don Rickles has died.

Well, this is weird!  I've been watching random YouTube videos since John's posting of the "Carmelina" trio, and I came across this video of Yvonne DeCarlo singing "I'm Still Here."  Right at 1:58, there's a very brief interruption that shows Don Rickles and Jerry Lewis during one of the MDA Telethons.  What a coinkydink!  Jrand, it's not a dream, but can this mean something??

;)

Richard Sherman just called - he's coming home tomorrow, so I'll be able to visit next week.

TOD:  Do films like Peggy Sue Got Married and Back to the Future count for this, where there's time travel to the 50's?

What pops to mind are:

Pleasantville
Grease (most of it anyway)

Ditto to Back to the Future, Pleasantville and Grease (I've never seen Peggy Sue Got Married).  Otherwise, I'll add:

A Beautiful Mind
Far from Heaven
Forrest Gump
Julie & Julia
M*A*S*H
The Manchurian Candidate (the original)
My Favorite Year
The Talented Mr. Ripley
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg

Because people see old stories and then start sharing them again, WITHOUT checking the date of the story ;D

Devastating news about Don Rickles.

He was one of the nicest (and funniest) people in the business.

I met him through my publicity client, Jack Carter, and he later co-starred in my first movie.

My atomic clock at home has problems with Pacific Savings Time.

I set it forward on the correct day.  Last night, it went back an hour.

When I woke up, I thought it was 5:30 a.m., but it was really 6:30 a.m.

Tomorrow morning, I have a couple of medical appointments.

And then I'm off for the rest of the day.

I may have mentioned on these here pages that I am going to retire at the end of August 2017.

MUCH to do between now and then.

I am relocating to the east coast.  I'm going to be clearing out a whole lot of stuff and, hopefully, transporting my most treasured possessions via some moving company.

Just the anticipation gives me a nervous stomach.  Have spoken with my doctor about it, too.
