Can anyone explain the Fitbit thing to me?  From the little I know ( and trust me I know little)  it's just  a digital pedometer ....

It works better than a pedometer.

Evening all!  I had a another quiet weekend for the most part.

I drove past the local Goodwill and something whispered in my ear to stop because there was something there I was looking for.  I've had this happen before and every time I get that feeling something, I've wanted is there.

In this case, I've had it on my mind that I want a short pair of brown lace up boots to go with an outfit I have for the ren fest in December but I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new pair.

Well, Lo and Behold, there were the very boots I've had on my mind for the past couple of weeks. EXACTLY like what I pictured in my head-and yes, they fit me like they were made for me. AND they were the grand sum of $8.98!

I will take them to get some taps put on the heels but other then that, they are perfect!

I love it when that happens.

Congrats on your great find 😊

I had a wonderful time at our reunion.   There wasn'the enough time to have quality time visits with everyone, and there were a couple of people I comp,Evelyn missed, still it was great and we had a fantastic turn out.

The party ran late and we never went to the after party in Studio City which was inconvenient, plus Keith was too tired.  I had wanted to go but am ok that we didn't.  We came back to our hotel over looking the water, walked around the marina and then had a snack at the hotel outdoor restaurant.  It was a good way to unwind.

Great Goodwill story DR DANISE.  It will be at least a few weeks before I can get back to my local emporium...I am sure they will have lots of new treasures.

My favorite Carroll Baker movie is THE CARPETBAGGERS, although I am still upset - 53 years later - that her character didn't get the terrific hospital death scene that's in the book.....the HARLOW one was a pale shadow of it.....

I turned it on, signed in, when through the whole start up process, and then the screen came up blank.

I let it set for 15 minutes, turned it back on, and it is fine.

Tonight I journeyed back in time to 1960.  I watched WHERE THE BOYS ARE (the original).  I loved Dolores Hart.  I was devastated when she joined the convent.

SNL had a little too much envelope-pushing for not enough humor at times, or at least that was my impression.  I was genuinely shocked by the controversial content of some of the material, even at 12:30 or 12:40 a.m, and I'm really not THAT easily shocked.

And we were watching it in prime time 8:30 - 10:00 p.m.
