DR JohnG, Season 6 is the best.  The madness goes over the top by the end of the season.

DR Jeanne, I've been catching Dr Blake on PBS Tuesday nights.  I like it.  Sorta.

Such is a holiday weekend :-(

I did have yesterday off from work, which was nice.  Today I have a rehearsal for a concert version of Chess that I'm playing for, and tonight back to running playback for Sister Act which has tonight and tomorrow afternoon, and then we are finished.  Tomorrow, work in the morning, Sister Act in the afternoon and then our first Chess performance.

Monday, I think I have nothing.  The weather is lousy this weekend, so I have no motivation to head to the coast or anything.

Back from The Last Auditions (the title of my next novel).

Now I get to dilly and dally a little before going to the play tonight.

I'm home the rest of the weekend, but the weather is going to be fairly crappy.

Probably get a little deck sitting time in tomorrow or Monday, but it won't be as nice as it could be.

Come to think of it, I might have a Memorial Day par-tay to drop in on tomorrow afternoon.  So, that's a possibility.

I very much applaud having such par-tays on the middle day of the weekend instead of the Monday holiday itself.  I never could stand ending a Monday holiday either in par-tay mode or dead tired mode, with the specter of the next day's work routine hanging all over everything.

Well, peoples...

I have my own word of the day, and that word is:  AUDITIONS.

May this be the last time you hear that word cross my gums - for the next few months at least.  I think I have just about what it takes to get through these today, and probably not an ounce more.

This is at the theater at the Abbey, for Fiddler on the Roof.  We had the ones in NYC several weeks ago.  These are the Connecticut ones.

If you ever have a chat with the Mother Abbess, please tell her you know a man who is still crazy about her, fifty years after seeing WHERETHE BOYS ARE for the first time.

Bryan & Kate have gone to the coast for the night.  First we all went to the Saturday growers market in Portland.  Bryan wanted the Montreal bagels sold there.  Unfortunately the bakery to not show up as promised on their website.

Yes, I did the show once.  I wanted the girl's part.
