I met "Madge" at the Wholesale Foods today at the agreed upon time (1 pm), and I bought her Kindle for the agreed upon price ($10).

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

The Kindle was out of power when I got it from her but was able to charge it in my car on the way back.  It works!!  I was able to deregister it from her account and register it to mine when I got to my parents' house.

After I registered it to my account, an "Archived Items" folder appeared on the Kindle with what looks like a list of every title I ever bought through Amazon or checked out from the library through OverDrive.  Most of them are from the library, so I can't just redownload them again.  But I can redownload any that I've actually purchased.

And I remembered to call to find out if I have to go to the courthouse for jury duty on Tuesday.  I don't, so I'll have to call again Tuesday night.

I am drinking one of Signatures specialty show cocktails:  The Dinner..its bourbon, triple sec and sprite

Dinner, hell.  It sounds more like The Last Supper.

Home from City Center with "The Lusty Month of May" to score today.  Back with Joshie in the AM.

Sadly, my May wasn't that lusty.

And who is to blame for that?

He spent the entire dinnet (loudly) talking about his ex and how she had done him wrong leaving him for a friend of his because his friend "made more money"  on and on and on for an hour.  She said maybe 2 words the whole time.  Uh huh and oh

That is just SO wrong!  How could anyone be so clueless??

Funny Andy Borowitz today: "Trump says he does not know Jared Kushner very well."   :)

:))  I can almost believe that it's true.

Watching "My Big Fat Greek Wedding, 2."  It's kind of slow-moving so far.

I loved the first one.  I haven't seen the second one...yet.

I finished "The Lusty Month of May" and the final round of songs came in.  I'm ready to crash.

Cool!  That's one of my favorite songs from the show.

Listened to the Bruno Walter Mahler 9th - also excellent.  Then moved onto the three CD set of Shostakovich concertos - various conductors and soloists in superb sound and the concertos themselves are fantastic.

Still have to put the motor car in the garage - don't know why I didn't do it earlier.

I'n going through my list of archived titles and am redownloading things that I want on this Kindle.  It's slow-going, but it's working.
