My wife, Sandy, was out walking our dog, Chester, yesterday morning, when the damn mutt started to go after a cat. Sandy got tangled in the leash and she took a nose dive.

Broken glasses. Broken teeth.

 

Yes, that is awful.  Poor Sandy.  I hope she recovers quickly and completely.

Wae-Ling and I went hiking for a portion of The Arizona Trail, which goes from Mexico to Utah. Probably about four miles of it.

Yikes!  It sounds like they were able to get the guy down without him jumping...or at least, they didn't mention that he fell.

While walking we noticed a sheriff's SUV pulling a police boat.  It probably had been one of the boats under the bridge and come back by way of the boat launch we often walk to.
