We watched Fred and Cyd last night in SILK STOCKINGS.

But, Janis Paige steals the show.

Tuesday morning greetings!  We're heading for home today and I'm ready to be there.  I miss our nice walk-in shower.

DR Ginny, $75 is all?  They should have given you a couple of free nights. The Palmer House should have standards to uphold.

Well, it started out as a credit to use in any of the hotel restaurants, which I think is kind of self-serving.  The deduction on our bill was offered when Richard said we were leaving this morning.

The Palmer House is overrated, in my opinion.  But we thought we should stay here once - and now we have.

One of favorite Cole Porter scores. Hell, they're all favorite Porter scores, but I even like the cheesy Ritz Roll 'n Rock.

Listening to Bandstand while I get ready for the trip. I'm enjoying it. Maybe because it's a PTSD musical and that was the theme of my master's thesis. Maybe because there are some melodies.

I was also shocked at the amount figuring at least one night for all they put you through.

DR Ginny if the Palmer House has a Facebook page complain there.  You might receive a better response, if not be sure to give them a bad review on trip advisor.

Bruce:

You need to take a break.  Do you ever "vacation"?

Your body can only stand so much, especially at "our" age!

I know you're invigorated to be working, but you ought to stop and smell the roses for a couple of weeks.

I've returned from all errands.  I dropped off the last edits for Jason, then stopped next door at the jeweler's to buy a new watchband for Mickey, who's very happy with it.  Then to the market for my senior discount.  I spent ;pts and my freezer is happy. I will spend part of the afternoon making chili.

I am congested and groggy - and currently I have not much of a voice either, which I think is related to all the coughing of the last few days.  Hopefully vocal strength will return by six, when I have to be able to be heard.

Well, some ass in the building called 311 to complain about the elevator and it's been shut down again.  The building services person who showed up declared it unfit and placed a fine on the management. So, thanks to some goddam jerk an elevator that was working has been forced out of service.  Color me really really pissed off.

So glad to read about what a good time George is having working on his show.  More fun details, please,  as it moves along, if you're not too tired!

Thanks, Fred!  I'll post updates as things happen. ;D
