You'd think it was a holiday weekend or something.

Giving a second listen to all the Prokofiev ballet recordings - just love this set very much.  My Amazon review of it has sold several sets.  And that is why Amazon reviews are so important, if you get my meaning. :)

I have successfully learned to convert an AIFF audio file to an mp3. Sometimes, when I decide I am completely computer illiterate, I surprise myself.

I think my best method (so far) has been to load AIFF or WAV or whatever kind of file I have into Audacity, and export it to MP3.  (It's not a Save As, it's under Export.)  If I recall correctly, you choose MP3 first, and then it lets you choose the bit rate and quality level you want.

I use several programs: one is a wav file editor where I can manipulate files as needed, and another that can break up big wav files into tracks, then another to convert wav files to MP3s.  I was given the programs, so that's how I learned to do all that.

I still need to learn how to separate an mp3 file into tracks.

My idea was, again, to do it in Audacity, and it looks like they've actually thought this out.  I have NOT tried it yet myself, but I'm delighted to see they have a method:

http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/splitting_a_recording_into_separate_tracks.html

I actually have an Audacity installation file but I've never used it.  Maybe I'll try it on my Windows 10 computer.

Daughter texted me that she's enjoying the play and that the theater is almost full - amazing for a first weekend.  If it keeps doing that kind of business, I'm sure they'll extend it by two weeks.

Great news, BK!
