I had some doozy dreams, although at the moment i only remember bits of two , something about a dormitory cafeteria, getting a tray and lining up to be served, and something about staging a Civil War musical and needing two sets of costumes for a soldier's parents in one scene.  Since we needed all the men in one sequence to be soldiers, we needed to dress a tall woman as the father.

Another work day.  I will look over my list to see what needs tackling this morning.  Rehearsals for the NYMF production begin tomorrow in Troy at Russell Sage College.

I have successfully learned to convert an AIFF audio file to an mp3. Sometimes, when I decide I am completely computer illiterate, I surprise myself.

This moronic CaptureData file is still running.  I am about ready to close it down.

I need to burn CDs of the bootleg recording of The New Yorkers I have so I can play them on my CD player.  I'm still hoping the funding for a recording comes through.

DR TCB last week I was looking around on YouTube and also discovered that Judy Garland had been moved from upstate New York to Hollywood Forever......and yes her crypt looks very nice.

She can have many more visitors now.....

DR Elmore, I saw where you were asking about breaking up The New Yorkers into tracks, and I was thinking about how I'd go about doing that myself.  I think I know, it would just take some good concentrated time.  Did you get it done?

I think my best method (so far) has been to load AIFF or WAV or whatever kind of file I have into Audacity, and export it to MP3.  (It's not a Save As, it's under Export.)  If I recall correctly, you choose MP3 first, and then it lets you choose the bit rate and quality level you want.

I just used my lawnmower as I will now describe:

A brief job, short cut, being careful to get it nice -- but twenty minutes is my limit out there in the 82-degree/humid sun, being a hot weather wimp.

That takes care of the grass/weeds around the house and will make it nicer for us to sit out on the deck this evening.  Maybe tomorrow I'll do the south forty.

I still need to learn how to separate an mp3 file into tracks.
