This does not bode well for the rest of the day.
Super duper Val just showed up with my printer and it's now up and running. He said he was going to bring it up last night but it was too late.
Congratulations on the book, Fred.

I'll start: Ask BK: Bruce, how long are you going to milk the 4th of July excuse for not knowing what day it is :-)

Has Ask BK Day moved?
I have my phone set to "do not disturb" during the night.
TOD:My favorite classes in high school were Baking and Typing. My favorite classes in college were Criminal Justice and Behavior Disorders. I chose UC-Irvine because it was the only university with a Dance department that claimed not to emphasize modern dance, and I had never taken a modern dance class. But while there, I completely fell in love with modern dance, over ballet or jazz.

Turns out one of Dad's biggest problems was that he was taking one of his meds incorrectly and an apparent side effect (one that's being debated) is spells of dementia.
I spent two hours on the telephone this morning "signing up" for my retirement health care and prescription plans. Both are through AARP. Because I am moving out of state, my County health care plan (with Kaiser) is not transferrable. The retirement association gave me a number to call to sign up with plans that will benefit me in Johnston SC. They are giving me a generous monthly stipend to cover the costs. My plans will use less than half of the stipend. Of course, I'm in the early experimentation stages of the plan and it may be adjusted annually. Happily, I also have VA, so I'm not too worried about things given the tenuous nature of health coverage issues today.

I am glad that was figured out. Too often meds are a major contributor. I hope this adjustment continues to show improvement. Has anyone figured out a better system to make sure he takes his meds correctly?
