Is there a musical in this?http://www.unitednews.org/lexington-sc-man-horrified-booking-prostitute-wife-arrived/
Britten's version of The Beggar's Opera is still my favorite version of this difficult comedy. I was very proud of my 1979 production, assisted by our DR Ginny. Here are two production shots.

I got very sick with bronchitis, though, and missed a lot of rehearsals - sorry, DR Elmore...
I was thinking those twits from EVAN HANSON should try.....to write....that musical.....
And I'm back from seeing "Dunkirk" in IMAX. WOW! It was almost like watching a documentary. The visuals were abolutely stunning and so realistic. The dialogue was very spare and almost incidental. There really wasn't a story. It was just about this one incident during World War II...fictionalized, of course. But very well done.
The laundry is in the washers. It's been so long since I've been to the basement, it's like another country.
I just realized: we have two recently empty apartments, one was rented by an elderly man now in a nursing home and one by a young lady who moved elsewhere. The landlord cannot rent these apartments while the elevator is not working.
