I'm sure that everybody has seen/heard these advertisements on television and radio that warn us to buy gold and silver because soon our cash will be worthless.

So, my question is: If our cash is going to become worthless, why are these people selling their valuable gold and silver for cash?

I can't really blame the scouts, they were just following a tradition. Ignoring the tradition would have made a political statement.

"The Boy Scouts of America is wholly non-partisan and does not promote anyone position, product, service, political candidate or philosophy. The invitation for the sitting U.S. president to visit the National Jamboree is a long-standing tradition and is in no way an endorsement of any political party or specific policies. The sitting U.S. president serves as the BSA's honorary president. It is our long-standing custom to invite the U.S. president to the National Jamboree"

Spectrum guy is still here but the problem has, hopefully, been solved. The modem they gave me a year ago was a modem/router - so, my Time Machine/Airport router was getting confused by the modem router - like two cars coming to the same intersection - one has to stop to let the other go - and it was timing out while that was happening. He gave me a brand new modem only - it took a while to get my router to recognize it, but finally it did and I'm on a much faster 5G network now (on my phone, too), so all that's good. He's now looking at the outside wires and is going to replace because they're really old.

Not brave enough. The Boy Scouts of America should censure the Orange Baboon for his totally inappropriate comments and for turning the "speech" into a Hitler Youth Rally.
